Sniffle snort

D got his first cold last week. Of course, being at daycare, we expected that he'd catch things, but this was a little sooner than I expected. It's horrible to watch the little guy try to breathe through a stuffed nose - you can't even tell him to blow his nose! So we've been giving him baths with eucalyptus oil drops to decongest him and aspirating his nose to try to make him more comfortable. No cold medicine as the doctor says it's not good for babies.

Last weekend we had Oysterfest and it was lots of fun: 4 of our friends had babies in tow, so it was a babyfest as well! At one point every room in the apartment had a baby in it. The festivities went into the evening, so D got to sport his fuzzy fleece that Camilla's mom bought him.
This week is busy with cleanup, trying to get D healthy and preparing for our Mexico trip. The little one finally gets to use his passport. Wish us luck!
