Cereal and pumpkins

Saturday we started D on rice cereal - the first step on his way to solids. He loved it - ate it all up and wanted to dive face first in the bowl. At the beginning he wasn't swallowing that much, and as much would fall back out as go in. I started laughing seeing the mess he was making and that made him laugh, which sent rice cereal spattering all over the place. Pretty soon he got the hang of things and was gulping down the spoonfuls. Now the ladies at daycare are feeding him his cereal every day and I can't wait to start exploring the fruit and veg world.

Sunday we went to the pumpkin patch with auntie Camilla, Sergio and Francesco to pick pumpkins for our little pumpkins. Not that they'll remember their first Halloween, but the photo ops were plentiful and the weather was super nice. The little ones got to sport their themed clothes and mug for the camera over and over. Damiano, of course, wanted to eat his pumpkin... =)
