Not crawling yet, but standing

My how quickly time flies by - except for now it's punctuated Little D's constant evolution, reminding us that time is flying past indeed. And while for the past two months he's seemed on the verge of crawling, instead of moving along on all fours he seems to be enjoying standing. He's still pretty loose on his legs, but he loves to pull himself up and even take a few steps. Most often, we see him standing in his crib, while he waits for one of us to come back in the room.
More recently, though, he's discovered other things he can hang on to, like people's legs, short pieces of furniture, or this handy dandy toy car ride-along he got from his auntie Gina. He's not covering much distance yet, but he sure does seem to enjoy it. And so it goes - soon enough he'll be scooting places one way or another and we'll have to childproof the house.
